SharePoint Users Rejoice Over the Lastest Office 365 Video Update

SharePoint users, both managers and employees are rejoicing over the Office 365 Video update. When it comes to big pieces of information, training videos, and technical instructions, businesses have been enjoying video uploading and sharing within their company. Microsoft recently announced its new features for Office 365 Video.

Here are some of the added functionalities that SharePoint users will be able to enjoy:

Video Viewer Statistics

This feature allows project managers to gain insight on where their viewers attention peaks, where users found the video (email, Delve, Yammer), and how long users watched the video for. All of this information can be viewed on an easy and interactive interface with graphs and charts for visualization.

Subtitles and Captions

This feature is very handy when you have employees from overseas who speak different languages. You are now able to upload many different files for subtitles and simply upload the format files to your video.

Embed Videos to SharePoint

When working on SharePoint, users are now able to click “insert” and will have the option to search for and select a video to be embedded and shared around the office.

Download

Video users who want to watch their video offline or on their mobile devices can now download videos and watch at their own convenience. Video admins will be able to control which users are able to download the content and which user can not.

What’s next?

Microsoft, in releasing their new updates, mentioned they are ready and willing to listen to feedback and get ideas for added functionality. Needless to say, SharePoint users have a lot to look forward to.
